Rome commemorates September 27-Day of Remembrance with documentary screening

A film screening dedicated to the Patriotic War was held to mark September 27 – Remembrance Day, and was organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy and the country's Culture Center in Rome.
The gathering brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, Azerbaijanis living in Italy, and other guests.
The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the country.
In his remarks, Elchin Huseynli, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Italy, noted that six years ago, on September 27, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, launched a fight for the liberation of the lands from occupation and the restoration of the country's territorial integrity.
Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Anar Abasov stressed that the “Army-People Unity,” envisioned years ago by National Leader Heydar Aliyev as a key national priority, was clearly demonstrated in 2020 during the political, diplomatic, and military struggle led by the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
Subsequently, the event featured the short documentary film “Dance of Victory,” produced by ASAN TV in 2025 at the initiative of the Literature Support Foundation.
