Second Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Rectors’ Forum kicks off in Khankendi

The Second Rectors’ Forum on Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan higher education cooperation commenced in Khankendi on October 16.
The event aims to strengthen cooperation in higher education between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, advance joint initiatives in innovation and scientific research, and enhance inter-university ties.
The forum brings together representatives of up to 30 higher education institutions from both countries.
In his opening remarks, Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education, highlighted the steady development of scientific and higher education cooperation between the two countries. He also stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral academic ties, sharing expertise, and implementing joint initiatives.
