Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discuss trilateral cooperation

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held trilateral talks in Baku on October 15, on the sidelines of the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
The sides discussed the current state of brotherly and friendly relations between Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, as well as opportunities to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
They noted that the trilateral cooperation format offers new opportunities for regional engagement. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening transport and transit connectivity and making more effective use of international transport corridors.
