Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Cambodia meet in Baku

On October 14, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Manet, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the importance of Hun Manet’s official visit to Azerbaijan for the development of bilateral relations was highlighted. It was noted that the visit would create new opportunities to further strengthen friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Cambodia.
The prime ministers emphasized the significance of the Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku.
They welcomed the successful development of political dialogue and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cambodia, including their interaction on multilateral platforms and the expansion of interparliamentary and inter-party ties.
The meeting also addressed ways to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as prospects for joint initiatives in energy, transport and logistics, demining, public services, education and tourism.
