Azerbaijan joins international seminar on empowring women’s agribusiness in Astana

An international seminar on empowering women in agriculture started in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan with Azerbaijani representatives in attendance.
The event has been organized by the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) as part of the Women Advocacy and Development Initiative (WADI).
The two-day seminar, which began on October 15, brings together representatives from Central Asian and Arab countries. Participants will discuss the development of women’s entrepreneurship, the application of modern agricultural technologies, and improving access to finance and markets.
Representatives of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture, UN Women, and various international organizations are also participating in the event.
