Azerbaijan ranks second as Türkiye’s top gas supplier for August

Azerbaijan ranked second among the countries supplying natural gas to Türkiye via pipelines in August 2026, data compiled from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) showed.
According to official data, Türkiye imported 752.44 million cubic meters (mcm) of pipeline gas from Azerbaijan in August.
Iran was Türkiye’s largest supplier, with 916.25 mcm, while Russia ranked third with 723.07 mcm.
Overall, pipeline deliveries from Azerbaijan to Türkiye totaled 7.245,91 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-August 2026.
