Azerbaijan, Switzerland discuss financial sector trends

Baku, October 16, AZERTAC

A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), met with Martin Schlegel, Chairman of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank, on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

“The two sides discussed global challenges, emerging trends in the financial sector, and efforts to safeguard macroeconomic and financial stability.

“Both sides welcomed the state of bilateral relations and discussed opportunities to expand cooperation,” the CBA said in a post on X.
