Azerbaijani Deputy PM meets with Iranian President

A delegation of Azerbaijan, led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, was received by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran.
Deputy PM Shahin Mustafayev conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the Iranian President. Pezeshkian thanked him for the greetings and asked him to convey his best wishes to the Azerbaijani President.
The meeting underscored that shared history and cultural ties have created a solid foundation for fostering bilateral relations. In this regard, the officials hailed the current state of friendship and good neighborliness, and reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the economic, trade, transport, and energy sectors.
They emphasized that the successful continuation of joint projects will contribute significantly to bilateral and regional development.
