German ambassador visits Azerbaijan University of Languages

German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dirk Lölke visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).
During a meeting with AUL Rector Kamal Abdulla, the sides discussed the development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Germany and opportunities to expand cooperation in education and science.
The meeting emphasized the importance of developing ties between AUL and German higher education institutions, expanding student and faculty exchanges, and implementing joint research and educational projects.
Kamal Abdulla provided an overview of German language teaching at AUL, the training of qualified specialists, and opportunities for students to participate in international projects. He noted that expanding cooperation with German higher education institutions is among AUL’s priorities.
The rector invited Dirk Lölke to join AUL’s “Ambassador Hour” project, which the Ambassador welcomed, stressing the importance of meeting with students.
The meeting also covered German language education, student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and strengthening ties between higher education institutions in Azerbaijan and Germany.
Later, the ambassador toured AUL’s German Exchange Center and Institute of German Studies.
