® Kapital bank opens its first new-concept branch in Ganja
Azerbaijan's first bank, Kapital Bank, has introduced a new branch format that merges digital banking capabilities with the advantages of a physical workspace. The first branch to feature this new design has officially opened in Ganja.
A key advantage of the new concept is the complete digitization of multiple in-branch services. A dedicated Digital Corner allows customers to easily execute online transactions, such as cashless payments and digital transfers. Additionally, for the first time in the country's banking history, customers can join the service queue online via a QR code.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Farid Huseynov, Head of the Bir Ecosystem and Chairman of the Management Board of Kapital Bank, noted that launching the first new-format branch in Ganja was a deliberate choice. "As the bank with the country’s widest service network, our goal has always been to simplify modern digital solutions for our people. We want the innovative environment and digital opportunities of the capital to be equally accessible to everyone, across every region. By combining digital speed with the warmth of human connection, this new office ensures that while our customers enjoy seamless technology, they always feel the sincere care and personalized support of our team."
The opening event was attended by Kapital Bank officials, Head of the Ganja City Executive Authority Niyazi Bayramov, local community representatives, and the bank's customers.
Operating under the new concept, the Ganja branch will serve customers Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 428 Ataturk Avenue. The branch offers a comprehensive suite of banking services, including deposits, payment cards, various loan products, cash settlements, and currency exchange. Kapital Bank operates the largest financial service network in Azerbaijan, featuring 120 branches, 48 divisions, 15 Digital Centers, and 1,274 ATMs.
