Azerbaijani delegation holds important official meetings in Iran

As part of its visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, an Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev held extensive meetings with Iranian officials.
The meetings underscored that the sincere relations established between the heads of state have had a very positive impact on the development of bilateral ties and the acceleration of joint projects.
During the visit, the delegation met with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The sides underscored the crucial role of parliaments in implementing joint initiatives put forward by the two countries and further strengthening bilateral relations.
The delegation then met with Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, to discuss current issues on the bilateral agenda.
As part of the visit, the delegation also held productive discussions with Iran’s Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Minister of Energy Abbas Aliabadi.
The meetings focused on the importance of economic projects for both countries and prospects for further cooperation.
