Host Tamilla Mammadova spoke with British expert Neil Watson, discussing the content and practical prospects of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the UK, as well as London's role in regional processes in the South Caucasus.
During the conversation, Neil Watson emphasized that the decision to upgrade bilateral relations to a strategic partnership in September 2025 reflects the UK's long-term interests in the region. The expert noted that Azerbaijan occupies a key place in Europe's energy architecture, and British investment and technology can enhance the sustainability of joint projects.
Special emphasis was placed on the UK's contribution to regional stability and economic development in the South Caucasus, amid the implementation of new international projects involving Azerbaijan.
