Tajikistan’s ambassador to Azerbaijan visits AZERTAC VIDEO

Ilhom Abdurahmon, Tajik Ambassador to Azerbaijan, visited the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC).
During a meeting with Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC, the current state of media relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in the information sector were discussed.
The ambassador was briefed on AZERTAC’s operations, including its 22 foreign correspondent bureaus and news publications in eight languages. It was highlighted that an official partnership between AZERTAC and the Tajik news agency Hovar has been in place since 2009, with ongoing cooperation in news exchange and within international organizations.
The meeting also focused on providing information support for cultural projects and events organized by the Embassy of Tajikistan, as well as promoting the tourism potential of both countries and disseminating relevant information.
