At a time when the world is facing multiple challenges, we have joined forces with representatives of diverse religions, calling for peace, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Holy See Ilgar Mukhtarov said in an interview with AZERTAC during the Iftar ceremony held in Rome.
Noting that this event marks the start of a significant new chapter, the diplomat emphasized that participants agreed to host such meetings every year.
According to him, this gathering has once again demonstrated that Azerbaijan is recognized worldwide as a tolerant and multicultural country.
