A new episode of the program "Azerbaijan and the World" has been released on the AZERTAC website. Host Tamilla Mammadova spoke with Spanish expert and President of the Pan-European Union Carlos Uriarte Sánchez about the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Spain and prospects for cooperation.
Sánchez noted that bilateral relations are at a high level. He emphasized that regular political dialogue and cooperation in energy, tourism, digitalization, and agriculture strengthen mutual trust. He noted that Spain views Azerbaijan as an important partner in the South Caucasus, while Spain is a significant member of the European Union for Azerbaijan, with strong economic and technological capabilities.
The expert also emphasized that Azerbaijan's strategic location, its role in diversifying Europe's energy supply, and its participation in regional transport and logistics projects make the country an important partner for long-term cooperation with foreign countries.
