Alexei Overchuk: Business communities urged to better utilize North–South Corridor opportunities VIDEO

“Azerbaijan and Russia seek to expand economic cooperation and effectively leverage their existing potential,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk told journalists following the Azerbaijan–Russia Business Council meeting in Baku.
Alexei Overchuk noted that a solid legal framework has been formed within intergovernmental cooperation, paving the way for closer bilateral ties.
Highlighting both sides’ commitment to expanding cooperation, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister emphasized: “Discussions focused on opportunities within the North–South International Transport Corridor, with business representatives from Azerbaijan and Russia urged to more actively utilize new prospects, including those linked to the Eurasian Economic Union and the Iran free trade agreement.”
Overchuk expressed confidence that the discussions will spur new initiatives and deepen business ties between the two countries.
