"Azerbaijan and the World": Baku and Prague expand cooperation in energy and technology VIDEO

A new episode of the program "Azerbaijan and the World" has been released on the AZERTAC website. Host Tamilla Mammadova spoke with Czech economist Jan Nemeček about the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic.
Noting the significance of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš' visit to Azerbaijan, the expert emphasized that the visit strengthens Azerbaijan's image as a reliable partner in the South Caucasus and creates additional opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation.
He noted that promising areas of cooperation between the countries include energy, renewable energy sources, industry, and infrastructure projects.
According to the program's interviewee, significant potential also exists in the field of green energy, including the development of solar and wind energy using modern technologies.
The Czech economist also emphasized the importance of cooperation in the defense industry, transport infrastructure, water resource management, and digitalization. He emphasized that Czech companies are already involved in a number of projects in Azerbaijan, including the modernization of water supply systems.
According to J. Nemeček, another promising area remains the development of cooperation in the field of "smart cities," digital technologies, and academic exchanges between universities in the two countries.
