AZERTAC staff visits Victory Park VIDEO

On the occasion of September 27 – Remembrance Day, the staff of AZERTAC visited Victory Park.
The cherished memory of the martyrs was honored with deep respect, and flowers were laid before the Victory Monument.
Pursuant to the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on December 3, 2020, the area of Victory Park, constructed on 8 November Avenue in the capital, spans nearly 10 hectares. At the entrance to the park, a Victory Arch with a height of 44 meters, a width of 22 meters, and 44 columns was built to symbolize the 44-day Patriotic War.
In the transition section to the park, a memorial monument reflecting November 8 – Victory Day was erected. The monument embodies Victory Day and unwavering unity. To preserve the memory of the soldiers and officers who fought heroically in the Patriotic War, as well as all the martyrs, and to commemorate the path to historical victory for the liberation of Azerbaijani lands, a Victory Museum was also created on the territory of the park.
Victory Park also features a thematic garden, a cascade-type waterfall, a Garabagh memory garden, and a general viewpoint of the park. Resting spots were created around the memory garden. At the end of the park, Freedom Flag Square was constructed.
Six years have passed since the beginning of the Patriotic War, which was written in golden letters in Azerbaijan's military history. The nation honors with respect the memory of the children of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. Victory Park on Baku's 8 November Avenue stands as an embodiment of this respect.
