4th Global Media Forum to be held in Shusha

The 4th Shusha Global Media Forum will be held under the theme “The Mission of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust” on July 13-14.
Now a prestigious international platform, the forum is expected to bring together nearly 160 media representatives, experts, and officials from 54 countries. The participants will represent around 30 international news agencies, more than 60 leading media organizations, and nearly 10 international organizations and companies.
The forum will feature panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, and interactive sessions on topical issues. Key topics include the role of media in peacebuilding, cross-border media dialogue, the restoration of public trust, international cooperation against disinformation, creating a safe information environment on digital platforms, and media ethics and responsible journalism in the era of artificial intelligence. The event aims to highlight the importance of responsible media behavior and contribute to practical steps toward restoring trust between societies, strengthening digital solidarity, and ensuring peace.
The initiative began in 2022 with the first International Media Forum on “Global Trends in the Media, New Challenges.” In subsequent years, it continued in the format of the Shusha Global Media Forum. The 1st Shusha Global Media Forum in 2023 was dedicated to “New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution,” the 2nd Shusha Global Media Forum in 2024 focused on “Unmasking False Narratives: Confronting Disinformation,” and the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum in 2025 addressed “Digital Pathways: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of AI.”
Having brought together nearly 600 prominent media representatives, experts, and officials from 81 countries across its previous editions, the Shusha Global Media Forum has strengthened its position as a leading international platform for the global media agenda.
Sessions at past forums widely discussed digital transformation, the impact of artificial intelligence on news production, and international solidarity against disinformation. Given the rapid changes in the global information environment, these topics remain highly relevant. As a continuation of those earlier discussions, these core directions will be detailed in the context of modern challenges at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.
