    5.1-magnitude quake hits waters off Taiwan

    Baku, March 10, AZERTAC

    A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off eastern Taiwan's Taitung County at 8:22 p.m. Wednesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), Xinhua reports.

    The epicenter was monitored at 23.21 degrees north latitude and 121.58 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 30 km, the CENC said.
