AZERTAC to join HUAWEI`s Beautiful Azerbaijan project VIDEO

Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) will be involved in Beautiful Azerbaijan project of HUAWEI, a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company, as the agency`s Director General Aslan Aslanov and Chief Executive Officer of HUAWEI Azerbaijan Cao Zejun agreed during their meeting on Thursday.
They both described this as “a successful beginning” of the bilateral cooperation.
Mr Aslanov hailed “wide” opportunities for collaboration between AZERTAC and HUAWEI. He also praised “close” relations between Azerbaijan and China as well as the two countries` news agencies. “AZERTAC maintains close cooperation with Xinhua news agency.”
Mr Aslanov highlighted AZERTAC`s activities and projects, saying the agency produces news in seven languages, including Chinese. “We have a round-the-clock Chinese language service, and plan to expand its activity. In addition, Confucius Institute conducts regular Chinese language courses for employees of our agency, who are also involved in a number of projects implemented in Beijing and other Chinese cities,” said Mr Aslanov.
Mr Zejun said AZERTAC was a trusted agency, which produced reliable news. He underlined the importance of taking advantage of the existing opportunities for cooperation.
Mr Zejun also highlighted Beautiful Azerbaijan project of HUAWEI. He said the project was about culture, nature and people of Azerbaijan. “Our goal is to promote Azerbaijan on a wider scale through social media and information resources, and attract people from all over the world to the country,” he added.
