“ADA university gives us inspiration and provides us with a vision for the future and I think that this conference is very important. I think this emphasizes the contemporary role of Azerbaijan, who might influence development not only in South Caucasus, but beyond, in Central Asia, in Eastern Europe, in Middle East, and I think it's a heritage of great leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, whose 100-year jubilee we all celebrate all together,” said First Deputy Chairman of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safayev at the 4th international conference on “Shaping the Geopolitics of the Greater Eurasia: from Past to Present to Future” at ADA University.

“By the way, I'd like to inform you that a few days ago, in Tashkent, we held a big conference dedicated to the heritage of Heydar Aliyev, great son of Azerbaijan, and great friend of Uzbekistan. I think, what we have today in this university, in this conference and seeing in wonderful Baku, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is a best memory of Heydar Aliyev, his heritage. He will always live in the memory of all of us. Because he has influenced development not only in Azerbaijan, but in a huge area as a great statesman and the man of the great vision,” Safayev added.
