Warmly welcoming the guests, Mr. Sharifov stated that due to establishment of the political stability in Azerbaijan, economy was dynamically developing and favorable conditions for investments created.
Currently, Japanese companies actively participate in financing the projects on different fields of Azerbaijan economy.
Deputy Prime Minister noted that according to the rules existing in the world, lax credits are not allocated for the field of energy, but Japanese government allocated lax credit for construction of the gas turbine station with 400 mw capacity on the “Shimal” Hydro Electric Power Station and other projects of Azerbaijan.
Having stressed the importance of the signed on September 26 between Azerbaijan Republic and Japanese Foreign Trade Development Organization of the Memo on mutual understanding related to rendering technical assistance in development of the oil machine building field in Azerbaijan, Abid Sharifov stated that realization of this agreement would give an opportunity to enter machine-building outputs to the world markets.
Mr. Hirosi Tsukamoto, in his turn, expressed his gratitude for warm words and noted that economic reforms carrying out in Azerbaijan were attentively observed in Japan. We will continue our cooperation in future, he emphasized.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Toshuyuki Fujivara.
