AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION SET TO PARTICIPATE IN ASTANA CONFERENCE ON POST-CRISIS MICROFINANCE

Baku, May 17 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani representatives are scheduled to attend an annual conference of the Poland-based Microfinance center on “Post-Crisis Microfinance: What is the Responsible Way Forward?” to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan on May 26.

The 3-day conference will bring together representatives of more than 500 microfinance institutions, policy makers, investors, donors and experts.

The conference will be co-organized in partnership with the Government of Kazakhstan, represented by the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning and Association of Microfinance Organizations of Kazakhstan (AMFOK), and sponsored by KazMicroFinance, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Bai-Tushum & Partners (Platinum sponsors) as well as BlueOrchard and responsAbility Social Investments AG (Gold sponsors).
