AZERBAIJAN MAJOR PARTNER OF JAPAN IN ITS ENERGY DIPLOMACY
Chief engineer of the “Azerenergy” SC Marlen Askarov and chief of power station Saleh Mammadov updated the guests on the done work, thanked the Japanese government for the assistance rendered to the development of energy of the country. Currently, the aggregate generates about 10 percents of the total energy produced in the Republic, they said. It was noted that the consulting company “Tepko Tepchko” has conducted monitoring at the station and expressed satisfaction with the works.
As a person, defining power policy of the country, chairman of the Japan-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary League of Friendship Mr. Akira Amari expressed confidence that Azerbaijan is a major partner of Japan in its energy diplomacy. He underlined that supports allotment of new credit for development of Azerbaijan energy sector.
Then, the guests viewed the new block of station, familiarized with the realized works.
Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Toshiyuki Fujiwara accompanied the guests.
