AZERTAC reporting from the frontline: Gapanly, the village which lives under fire VIDEO
Tartar, April 5, AZERTAC
AZERTAC's correspondents have made a reportage in Tartar's Gapanly village which is living under constant artillery fire from the Armenians. Every house here was shelled by the enemy.
"Gapanly is the most damaged village in the region. The Armenians' recent shelling of Tartar region has damaged more than 160 houses. Up to 20 houses were completely damaged in Gapanly alone,” our correspondents say.
"The village which is very close to the frontline is constantly shelled by the Armenians. As the village is under constant artillery fire women, children and the elderly temporarily fled the area. But local residents are not going to leave the village."
“But every moment is very dangerous here. It was impossible to stay there longer because Armenians began to shell the village. The local residents who accompanied us said: You leave but we are staying. This is our home," our correspondents say.
“Garadaghli village adjacent to Gapanly also constantly comes under fire. An old woman who we met on our way to the village also said that they were not afraid of anything. "We are in our own homes and are not afraid. We rely on our army."
Rural teacher Narmina Ahmadova says that everybody is in the village: "We stand by our Supreme Commander-in-Chief and our armed forces."
