“Argentina is keen to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan in economy and other fields,” said the newly appointed Ambassador of Argentina to Azerbaijan Sergio Osvaldo Perez Gunella as he presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
He noted that he will spare no efforts to contribute to further enhancement of bilateral commercial ties between the two countries during his diplomatic tenure.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov hailed the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina, and expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries will continue to expand. The prospects in furthering the relations particularly in economic, trade and tourism spheres were emphasized.
FM Mammadyarov stressed that the Republic of Argentina in its capacity of observer has been invited to the 18th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which will be held in October in Baku this year and expressed hope that Argentina will be highly represented at this event.
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov wished the Ambassador every success in his diplomatic activities.
During the meeting Ambassador Sergio Osvaldo Perez Gunella presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
