Azerbaijan, Italy`s Perugia city discuss cooperation

Azerbaijani Ambassadot to Italy Vagif Sadigov, as part of his visit to Perugia, has met the city Mayor Andrea Romizi.
Ambassador Vagif Sadigov highlighted the current state of political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Italy and stressed the importance of establishing and developing ties between the regions. The Diplomat said cooperation between Perugia and Azerbaijan would open new opportunities, and stressed significance of reciprocal visits.
Mr. Sadigov said educational field played an important role in Azerbaijani-Italian ties.
On achievements Perugia city, the mayor Andrea Romizi said cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Italian city in cultural, economic, finance fields would be efficient.
As part of the visit, Mr. Sadigov has met businessmen at the Trade Chamber of Perugia. He provided an insight into a business environment of Azerbaijan, as well as its economy and investment opportunities.
Head of Italian-Azerbaijani Trade Institute Manuella Traldi spoke about the fruitful business environment created in Azerbaijan for foreign companies.
Ambassador Vagif Sadigov also met President of the University of Flavours Anna Rita Fioroni became familiar with the activity of the facility.
They discussed the University`s potential relations with the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan.
The ambassador at the meeting with Paolo Belardi, director of the Academy of Fine Arts discussed taking the real steps for holding the joint events in the fields of art and educations.
