Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association realizes another project in Seoul

SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association has realized another project in Seoul, the Republic of Korea. On October 7, Seoul hosted the opening ceremony of the international book fair Read the Culture, Read the World organized by the Korean Publishers Association.
The book fair originally started in 1954 as Seoul Book Fair. Later in 1995, the name was changed to Seoul International Book Fair.
The book fair aims to increase reading habits, to present participant countries’ publications and to make the world familiar with the capacity of Korean publishing industry.
Sixteen countries together with Azerbaijan attend the book fair at COEX Centre. Azerbaijan is being presented by SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association. Sixty seven kinds of books, magazines, catalogues, brochures, postcards, video and music discs etc., reflecting the ancient history, rich cultural heritage and national and moral values of the Azerbaijani people, are being exhibited at the fair. The Azerbaijani stand attracted the attention of the Korean public, Korean readers, as well as the other participant countries from the very first day.
The Book Fair will last until 11th October by the organizing of SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Korea, and by the support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic.
