Azerbaijani, Italy customs authorities discuss bilateral cooperation

Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General Shahin Bagirov, has met with the Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan, Claudio Taffuri.

The meeting focused on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy as well as the importance of establishing more efficient and business relations in the customs sphere.

Stressing that Italy is one of the important trade partners of Azerbaijan, the sides hailed contribution of the customs bodies to the development and regulation of economic and trade relations between the two countries. The meeting also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries in the direction of initial information exchange.
