Azerbaijani President lays foundation stone for Ganja State Philharmonic Hall`s new building

Ganja, January 21 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a new building of the Ganja State Philharmonic Hall.

The Head of State was warmly welcomed by constructors.

The President was informed the new building would be built on the site of the Baku cinema and Children`s Creative Center.

The 6-storey facility will cover a total area of 1 hectare.

The building of the Ganja State Philharmonic Hall will have a 1200-seat concert hall, 2 cinema halls, a photo gallery, restaurants and cafes.

President Ilham Aliyev put a time capsule into the foundation and covered it with liquid concrete.
