Azerbaijani doctors remove many bullet fragments from 13-year-old Ramin`s leg after he was shot by Armenian troops
Tovuz, August 10, AZERTAC
Doctors in Azerbaijan`s Tovuz district have extracted many bullet fragments from a local boy`s leg after he was wounded by the Armenian troops.
“At 7 p.m. I received a call and was told that Armenians shot a teenager who was hospitalized with severe wounds. I rushed to work. The boy was 13-year-old Ramin Yusifov who lives in Garalar village,” said Kamaladdin Abbasov, a surgeon at Tovuz central hospital.
“We removed a lot of bullet fragments from Ramin’s leg. We immediately started a surgery. The boy was badly scared,” said the doctor.
He said he has treated over a hundred civilians shot by the Armenians so far. “Among them were kids, women and the elderly. And on each occasion we informed international organizations of the incidents. We urge them not to turn a blind eye to these incidents.”
Abbasov recalled the killing of Sahiba Allahverdiyeva, 51, and her two-year-old granddaughter Zahra Guliyeva by the Armenian troops in Alkhanly village a month ago. He said neglect of international organizations to that incident encouraged another provocation. “We urge international organizations including the OSCE Minsk Group to stop treating the aggressor and the victims equally. How many civilians should be killed before they say stop to Armenian aggression?” added Abbasov.
