Azerbaijani emergencies minister meets with Iran‘s ICT minister

Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov met with a delegation led by Iran’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Mahmoud Vaezi.
Heydarov noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's recent visit to Iran has given impetus to the further strengthening of bilateral relations, the ministry’s press service said.
Speaking about the work carried out in the country towards the prevention of emergencies, elimination of their consequences, the minister said that there are vast prospects for cooperation with relevant Iranian bodies.
Mahmoud Vaezi, in turn, thanked Minister Heydarov for warm welcome and expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan in all spheres.
He noted that Iran is interested in further development of cooperation in prevention of emergencies and elimination of their consequences.
