Azerbaijan`s cargo transportation via TRACECA hits more than 19.6 million tons

The volume of cargo transportation through the Azerbaijani section of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) amounted to 19,622,500 tons, while the cargo turnover was 4.8 billion ton-kilometers in January-May of 2022.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 10,716,500 tons or 54.6% of the cargo was transported by road, 6,408,300 tons or 32.7% by rail and 2,497,700 tons or 12.7% by sea.
