An online meeting has been held between Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov and Rector of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Prof. Mehmet Karaca.
ITU Vice-Rector Alper Unal, Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences Berk Canberk and Dean of International Education Yılmaz Akkaya also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between BHOS and ITU in the fields of education, artificial intelligence, double diplomas, exchange of students and teachers.
At the meeting, a decision was made to provide support and to exchange experiences in organizing online training.
Exchange of views was held on computer engineering, implementation of joint academic programs and the creation of artificial intelligence specialty.
According to the agreement reached at the meeting, the selected students of Baku Higher Oil School and Istanbul Technical University will have the opportunity to get diplomas from both of these universities.
Istanbul Technical University is a higher educational institution specializing in engineering and architecture, which is considered one of the leading technical universities in the world.
