CONFERENCE IN MOSCOW TO FOCUS ON CASPIAN AND OTHER PROBLEMS

The international conference of the Association of International Law and the Russian Foreign Ministry on the problems of the Caspian and Azov Seas, the Kerch Strait and shipping in light of new threats and challenges will open in Moscow on Tuesday, December 2.

Experts from Russia, the USA, Great Britain, France, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other countries and representatives of the UN International Tribunal on the Sea Law will participate in the conference, said the press and information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Terrorism, the US initiative on sea interception and other issues will be discussed at the conference.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Viktor Kalyuzhny, the Russian President's Special Envoy for the legal status of the Caspian Sea will deliver a report at the conference.

The conference will close on December 5.
