Caspian Energy Club members conduct extraordinary general meeting

The Caspian Energy club members have held an extraordinary general meeting. Issues concerning the expansion of the Caspian Energy Club activity in the regions of Azerbaijan were on the agenda of the general meeting, said Chairman and CEO of the Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev.
“The Caspian Energy Club intends to expand its activity in all regions of Azerbaijan, and we have already achieved certain results on the way to this goal. We have started organizing meetings with the heads of executive authorities. As part of the Business Tours, we visit and get acquainted with enterprises and production processes, products produced, as well as with services provided in these regions. We will continue to actively lobby interests of investors and provide support to regional entrepreneurs. The number one task set by the country's top leadership is to attract local and foreign investors to the regions, conduct thorough monitoring of problems faced by entrepreneurs in the regions, as well as study suggestions and questions of entrepreneurs with the active participation and support of the heads of executive authorities,” Telman Aliyev said.
Telman Aliyev also noted the importance of studying the possibilities of attracting investments and organizing the engagement of the Caspian Energy Club member companies in the restoration works running in Karabakh.
Then, the heads and members of the committees, subcommittees and working groups of the Caspian Energy Club made a number of suggestions in the course of a two-hour online event. The proposals and suggestions made by them will be presented as a package of proposals to the top leadership of the country, heads of ministries and departments representing the energy and economic bloc of the government.
The Caspian Energy Club which brings together over 5,000 companies and organizations from 50 countries was established in June 2002. As an active participant of the business-to-government dialogue, the major objective of the Caspian Energy Club is to improve the investment and business climate in Azerbaijan and in other countries where the Caspian Energy Club operates, as well as to stimulate and actively participate in the B2G, B2B and B2C dialogues.
