DELEGATION OF CAUCASUS MUSLIMS CLERICAL OFFICE TOOK PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

A regular conference of the international organization “Invitation to Islam” was held in the capital of Libya, Tripoli. Azerbaijan was represented at this prestigious forum by the First Deputy Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board Hajji Salman Musayev and kazi of the office for Shirvan region Hajji Khanali Babayev.

The main topic of the conference with the participation of representatives of 36 countries was Inter-confessional dialogue in the world. During the trip to Tripoli, first after cancellation of sanctions of UN against Libya, representatives of Azerbaijan conveyed the congratulations of sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, told about realities of Azerbaijan.

IN the context of inter-confessional dialogue in the Caucasus, Azerbaijani delegation made a report on religious tolerance in the country, told about policy of Azerbaijan in the field of freedom of religion which could be a good example for the whole world. Side by side with stability in Azerbaijan and activity for economic progress, they informed the forum on the essence of Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and fair position of the country.
