Famous “Fourplay” jazz band perform in Baku’s Heydar Aliyev Palace

The well-known American jazz quartet "Fourplay" has performed at the Heydar Aliyev Palace in the capital of Azerbaijan.

The concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the musical group, took place within the Baku International Jazz Festival.

The quartet "Fourplay" is one of the most successful bands playing in the style of smooth jazz.

The group consists of outstanding jazz musicians, who for a long and successful creative work won the recognition of the general audiences and achieved great success during 25 years.

Exploring the limitless possibilities of jazz has allowed the quartet to evolve musically, drawing musical elements from a wide range of styles, to hone their own unique and innovative sound.

Created in 1990, the band regularly make new albums, attracting the attention of music lovers around the world and actively participates in tours and festivals.

The band performed works from the albums of different years.

The Baku International Jazz Festival is an annual jazz event and aims to showcase Azerbaijan's long-running attachment to the American-born art form, a connection first established in the country during the 1950s and 1960s.

Many famous musicians from many countries participate in the festival, including from Georgia, Portugal, Italy, Israel, the USA, Germany, Canada and Russia.
