Iranian ambassador strongly condemns armed attack on Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Tehran

Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi has strongly condemned an armed attack on the country’s Embassy in Tehran.

At the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, the ambassador said he was deeply saddened by the news, and expressed his deepest condolences to the family members of the killed embassy employee, Azerbaijani government and people.

Ambassador also noted that Iran’s relevant authorities rapidly responded to the incident with the country’s law-enforcement bodies investigating the attack. According to him, detailed information will be delivered to the public following the end of investigation.
