Executive President of American-Turkish Federation Ibrahim Kurtulush said: “Terrorist acts were also committed in Turkey while many nations live in peace and harmony there and Jews are not subjected to any discrimination, parents did not teach us to kill. We were taught to love and make friends. Today, both Jews and Muslims have been killed. Those who committed the terrorist acts will be punished. We are, as always, together. History and truth teach us to be so.”
Executive director of the American Jewish Congress David Harris also cited Turkey as an example for other states. According to him, being exiled from Spain in 1492 Jews put up in Turkey where they lived in peace and harmony. Today, not only Jews but also each person not indifferent to the future of the planet should support Turkish people in the name of peace.
Members of Society of Azerbaijani Jews noted that Azerbaijan and Turkey are linked with friendship and fraternity and would be side by side.
