Joint Congress of EFPM and CIFP continues

The joint Congress of European Fair Play Movement ( EFPM) and International Committee for Fair Play (CIFP) has today continued in Baku.
The second day of the Congress has featured discussions on "The Cooperation and Responsibility of Government and Non-Governmental Sports Organization in Preserving the Olympic Values of Sports and Fair Play" chaired by Katarina Racz, EFPM EC member.
Addressing the congress, a UK expert David Hemery stressed the importance of values in promoting the fair games, adding, responsibility of athletes plays an important role in achieving successful results. He hailed the experience of education, business, government and non-governmental sectors in promoting fair plays.
Touching upon the safeguarding of children in sports, another UK expert Anne Tiivas in her speech stressed the importance of protecting children against all forms of violence in developing sport in the world, particularly promoting fair games.
The event then heard report of the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Congress Salhat Abbasova on "Sport builds bridges: but how do we build strong bridges?"
The Congress continues its work.
