“Karabakh is the cradle of Azerbaijani culture”: Lekh Castle

Baku, November 4, AZERTAC 

The Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan has published an article about Lekh Castle in Kalbajar district as part of the “Karabakh is the cradle of Azerbaijani culture” project.

AZERTAC presents the article.

“Lekh Castle is located in the territory of Ganlikand village of Kalbajar district, which was occupied by Armenia in 1993.

The castle, built on a high mountain peak, was built in the 13th-14th centuries for defensive purposes.”
