ONE MORE COMPANY IN AZERBAIJAN JOINS EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES TRANSPARENCY INITIATIVE

Absheron Investment Ltd has joined Mutual Memorandum of Understanding regarding Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Azerbaijan.
Now, the number of companies joined the EITI reached 26.
The EITI sets a global standard for companies to publish what they pay and for governments to disclose what they receive.
Big companies like Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company, bp-Azerbaijan, Exxon, Statoil, Total, LUKoil, Chevron, Shell, and Devon Energy signed the MOU in 2004 and later, Inpex Azerbaijan, Binagady Oil, RAFI Oil, NICO joined it.
