Online event on intellectual property held at High Technologies Park

The second online seminar on “Patent requirements” has been held jointly by High Technologies Park of the Ministry of Science and Education and the Korea Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI).

In the lecture presented by Youngtack Shim, professor of Seoul National University, participants were presented with interesting information on patent law, patent claims, application forms, patent acquisition and protection, patentable novelties, problems of patent applications, invalid patents, and patent infringements. One of the main goals of the presentation was to share the experience of the Korean patent system based on training tasks.

Representatives of the Intellectual Property Agency, Baku State University, Technical University, Western Caspian University, Baku Engineering University, Economic Zones Development Agency, High Technologies Park and private sector enterprises participated in the online lecture and discussed interesting issues.

The next trainings under the poster “Intellectual property-Silk Road Azerbaijan” will cover the topics of “Patent infringement and prevention”, “How to make a powerful patent?”, “Breeding patents and ownership”, “Patent licensing and commercialization” and “Patent business”.
