Prague, April 5 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met here speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Czechia Miroslava Němcová.

They praised Azerbaijan-Czechia relations in various spheres, as well as interparliamentary ties. They said good basis exists for development of cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, humanitarian, cultural and educational spheres.

The sides underlined the importance of Azerbaijan-Czechia cooperation within European Parliament structures and in terms of Azerbaijan-EU relations.

They also stressed the role of interparliamentary friendship groups in expansion of the bilateral relations.

Following the meeting President Ilham Aliyev signed the guest book of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Czechia.
