President Ilham Aliyev receives Croatian delegation led by country’s defense minister

Baku, February 6 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Croatian delegation led by the country’s defense minister Ante Kotromanović.

The Head of State praised the current level of bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Croatia.

President Ilham Aliyev with satisfaction recollected reciprocal official visits by Presidents of the two countries, saying Azerbaijan and Croatia have huge opportunities to further develop cooperation in various fields, including economic and military ones.

The Azerbaijani leader expressed confidence that Croatian defense minister`s visit would be a success.

The defense minister conveyed greetings of Croatian President Ivo Yosipovich to the Head of State.

Kotromanović said peoples of Azerbaijan and Croatia share similar history and enjoy close friendship ties. The minister pointed out that the bilateral relations were successfully developing.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked the minister for President Ivo Yosipovich`s greetings and asked him to pass on his greetings to the Croatian leader.
