    SOCAR, International Finance Corporation discuss opportunities for cooperation

    Baku, January 26, AZERTAC

    President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf has met with Regional Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Europe Rana Karadsheh.

    During the meeting, the sides hailed successful development of cooperation between IFC and Azerbaijan over the past years, stressing the importance of joint projects implemented in various fields, including financial services, infrastructure and production.

    They also discussed opportunities for cooperation between SOCAR and IFC in the fields of energy transition, reducing carbon emissions, and other issues of mutual interest.
