Azerbaijani boxers have progressed to the final of the Junior and Youth international boxing tournament held in the city of Eger, Hungary on June 5–10.

Subhan Mammadov, Taghi Nasibov, Mahammadali Ashuraliyev, Mahammadali Gasimzade, Farhad Sheydayev, as well as female boxers Banuchichek Nasirli and Ozlam Hasanova will battle for gold medals.

The participating countries are Azerbaijan, Finland, Italy, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Scotland, Ukraine and Hungary.

The competition is the 72nd edition of the Bornemisza tournament, the oldest European boxing event for the younger age group.
