“Trans-Caspian East-West Trade and Transit Corridor” Forum to be held in US

The Embassies of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Turkey to the United States of America will organize “Trans-Caspian East-West Trade and Transit Corridor” forum in Washington D.C.
The forum will be hosted by the Central Asia and Caucasus Institute, Johns Hopkins University. The goal of the Washington Forum is to introduce projects and investments along the modern Silk Road to business leaders across a variety of industries. Participants will learn and discuss how multinational companies can benefit from greater cooperation with the region.
The Forum will bring together public and private senior executives in the fields of transportation policy, transit, customs, logistics and value-added services from the regional countries, along with representatives of the international freight forwarders, EU-based companies, China and Central Asia-based US manufacturing companies. The next day forum will be followed by private B2B, G2B meetings.
